Maintenance Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Strong safety orientation
• Good communication skills
• Must be a team player
• A combination of experience in the following areas is desirable:  pump maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipefitting, machine shop and use of basic machine tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Some welding experience a plus, TIG, MIG or SMA.
• Available to work 12 hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays, overtime and call-ins

Requirements:

• Five plus years of applied maintenance experience in paper converting or other process related industry
• High School Diploma plus formal accredited apprenticeship or equivalent trades, a training period is required.
• Read and use measurement tools
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience operating a forklift and crane safely and efficiently.
